My thoughts on the Norway/Winehouse debate.
- It is possible to be saddened by both events.
- Amy Winehouse’s death is bound to get more of an online response, as she touched more people whilst alive. While what happened in Norway is indescribably tragic, the majority of people didn’t know anyone who was hurt or killed. Everyone knew Amy, because she was a public figure, and she influenced many. This does not mean those who are mourning Amy publicly are not thinking of those affected in Norway.
- There is room for both in our thoughts.
